Hi there, welcome to living overload! “What is living overload?” you may ask! Well, living overload is a blog page set up by two teens (K and E, for the sake of anonymity 😉) to discuss, debate, write and offer up our experience and take on teenage and young adult life. We would love to act as a small area of the internet where you can come to get advice, ask questions and escape from all the usual madness that the wonderful web has to offer. Our blog posts will range from relationship advice, to self-care, to dealing with exam stress and strangely enough, even to finding your fashion aesthetic!?
We understand the pressures and stress put on young people in todays society and the constant need to feel like a “somebody.” But here at living overload, we pride ourselves on being uniquely you and not the “somebody” that society expects you to be. Mental health is a big factor that affects all of us, and we intend on addressing the detrimental effects social media plays in mental health to the increasing number of mental disorders that teenagers and young people are experiencing today. We strive to be a place where you feel less alone and can share your own experiences with the small and kind community we hope to build through our blog.
But this blog is also an escape for us! A way to write down all of our feelings and hopefully take our own advice in the process. Everyone struggles with self-confidence and social anxiety, but we seem to be the CEO’s of struggling with it! (Tik Tok reference!) ((side note- I promise we aren’t cringy Tik Tok teens.)) So why not put ourselves out there and write about our experiences of fake friendships, self-esteem, social status and expectations vs. harsh reality!
We would appreciate if you subscribed to our page to get updates on whenever we post a new blog post but until then, have fun reading about the weird and wonderful lives of two teens who offer a lot of unnecessary advice a little too often! 😉
Love,
K and E.xx
